New Delhi: The district administration Monday demolished several unauthorised buildings, including farmhouses and other structures, to clear encroachments for the approach road to Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences (CAPFIMS) in south Delhi ’s Satbari village.
An official said that a 500-metre road, which is currently only 12 feet wide, is being widened to 100 feet to provide access to the institute and also address traffic congestion in nearby areas. Around 20 buildings were demolished during the action.
