Himachal Pradesh has recorded a nine per cent monsoon rainfall deficit so far. The IMD expects largely weak monsoon activity over the next five to seven days, with no heavy-rain alert. The southwest monsoon remains active over several parts of the states, with rainfall expected across different regions over the coming days.
