A 33-year-old woman, Pullamoni Radhika, died after a car hit her motorcycle
HYDERABAD: A 33-year-old woman, Pullamoni Radhika, died after the bike she was travelling on as a pillion rider was hit by a car from behind on the Shamshabad Airport Approach Road near the ROB U-Turn early Saturday morning. The accident occurred around 6.43 am when Radhika and Prithviraj, both residents of Shamshabad, were travelling on a bike, according to officials.
Police said the car, allegedly driven by a man identified as Uma Kant, hit the bike after the driver failed to notice a speed breaker on the road. Police said Uma Kant fled from the scene and is currently absconding. A team from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) police station has been sent to trace him, the officials said.
The two were reportedly on their way to work at the airport when a car approached from behind. The impact caused both occupants of the two-wheeler to fall, with Radhika sustaining severe injuries to her head and face.

She was immediately shifted to a hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead. Prithviraj, who was riding the bike, also sustained injuries and was taken for treatment.
