Hyderabad : Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Thursday announced that party MPs would conduct inquiries at district collectorates into land parcels surrounding former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s farmhouse at Erravelli.
Chamala said 85 acres in survey No. 130 of Hakimpet mandal had been identified as assigned land and distributed to eligible beneficiaries.
He said revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy had instructed officials to review lands included in prohibited lists and ensure that genuine landowners and ordinary citizens were not inconvenienced. The Congress leader also targeted BRS working president KT Rama Rao over land parcels in Janwada. He questioned whether different standards were being applied to different individuals in land-related matters.
He alleged that some properties earlier attached by the Enforcement Directorate had later surfaced under names linked to KTR and demanded an explanation regarding their ownership.
