Hyderabad's Global Grace Cancer Run to draw 35,000 participants: The wider industry impact

The organisers said the cancer awareness run, which originated in Hyderabad, has expanded into a global campaign reaching nearly 1.4 crore people across more than 130 countries and seven continents. “The Global Grace Cancer Run is a movement originating from Hyderabad and connecting communities across 130+ countries.

Every participant becomes an ambassador for cancer awareness, and every registration helps us take screening services to underserved communities,” Grace Cancer Foundation founder Dr Chinnababu Sunkavalli said. The foundation said every registration would support cancer awareness and screening initiatives for underserved communities. Its plans include AI-enabled mobile cancer screening, preventive oncology research and expansion of screening services across India.

HYDERABAD: Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy is expected to attend the ninth edition of the Global Grace Cancer Run in Hyderabad on October 11, with the annual event set to draw around 35,000 participants in the city and more than one lakh globally. The 2026 edition will feature 2K, 5K and 10K categories under the theme “Run for Grace. More than 300 cancer survivors from Telangana are expected to participate in the Conquerors Run, aimed at highlighting the importance of early detection and timely treatment.

The run, organised by Grace Cancer Foundation and powered by Evernorth Health Services, will be held at Gachibowli Stadium. Screen for Life.
