Army armoury burglary: Police analyse CCTV, phone data for leads
Police officials involved in the investigation said 12 Army personnel have so far been questioned, including those deployed for guard duties at the armoury, and their supervisors. “Right now, we are checking footage from Sunday (Aug 30) night. On the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, unidentified persons broke into the Madras Regiment armoury at Bollaram and stole a stash of high-end weapons including four AK-203 assault rifles, one INSAS rifle, seven pistols and a night-vision binocular, along with a large quantity of ammunition.
