Telangana Rakshana Sena chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha has constituted: The wider industry impact

The emergence of CCTV footage has added a fresh dimension to the case

Hyderabad: Telangana Rakshana Sena chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha has constituted a committee comprising educationists and party leaders to study the continuation and necessity of polytechnic education in Telangana state. She announced the committee with seven members on Tuesday.

Panic has spread among students ever since the Congress govt issued Government Order (GO) 97, bringing polytechnic education under the purview of the Skill University. They are demanding the immediate revocation of GO 97 and urging the govt not to transfer polytechnic education under the scope of SHAKTI (Department of Labour and Employment). Addressing these growing student concerns, Kavitha announced the formation of this study committee to examine three critical areas: preserving polytechnic education in its current format, analyzing the adverse impacts of GO 97, and evaluating the potential fallout of bringing polytechnic education under SHAKTI (Department of Labour and Employment).

Students across the state have taken to the streets, organizing various forms of protests. Furthermore, students express deep anxiety regarding the future of their careers if private promoters pull out of the Skill University.
