Kolkata: Banti Khan, brother of fugitive gangster Prince Khan, who allegedly runs an organised extortion racket around Dhanbad-Hazaribag from the UAE and has deep connections in Pakistan , was arrested at Kolkata airport on Sunday while attempting to flee to Dubai.
He was named in the murder case of Mahatab Alam alias Nanhe, who was shot dead in Dhanbad’s New Market area on Nov 24, 2021. Banti had previously been arrested along with two associates from a railway station in UP in March 2022 and remained in judicial custody before securing bail.

During the procession, supporters and associates of Fahim Khan’s son physically assaulted Banti while he was surrounded by police personnel.
