Kolkata: With Bengal poised to celebrate Durga Puja in Oct, state govt has decided to curtail

Kolkata: With Bengal set to celebrate Durga Puja in Oct, state govt has decided to curtail the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ – marking PM Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public service – by a week. The series of programmes, earlier scheduled to go on for a month, will now be observed from Sept 17 to Oct 10. Mahalaya will be observed by the state on Oct 10.
