The 125-bed charitable multispeciality hospital for women and children, run under Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Dakshineswar, was donated the equipment by a non-profit organisation ‘Dil Se’. The minister also announced that govt would try to install an MRI facility at the hospital.
“The dialysis machine and multiparameter monitor will help in the treatment of the patients belonging to the economically disadvantaged section,” said Pravrajika Anilaprana, assistant general secretary and trustee/governing body member of Sri Sarada Math and Ramakrishna Sarada Mission. The minister said: “This hospital is a treasure in Rashbehari constituency. We hope that we will be able to help them in expanding their medical facilities further in the days to come,” said the minister. “We’re celebrating our platinum jubilee and this organisation had donated an ambulance to our hospital last year,” said Pravrajika Anilaprana. Sangeeta Thakker, co-founder of ‘Dil Se’, said: “This dialysis machine represents countless acts of kindness coming together for one purpose. Brij Bhushan Agarwal, president, Indian Chamber of Commerce, who was present at the ceremony, said, “This contribution is an inspiring example of collective social responsibility in action.”
The minister was present at a ceremony where the hospital got a dialysis machine and a multiparameter monitor. They have been rendering social service with utmost dedication and compassion. It’s spic and span, which is one of the important things that a hospital ought to maintain. Healthcare is one of the most meaningful forms of public service, and every contribution that improves access to quality treatment has the power to change countless lives. “Many companies and corporates have helped in the expansion of the hospital’s treatment facilities. We will see if we can arrange for MRI facility that will help many patients undergoing treatment here.
Kolkata: State finance minister Swapan Dasgupta announced on Monday that Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Matri Bhavan should be a model for all hospitals in the state in terms of cleanliness, compassion and dedication among health workers to treat patients.
