Agartala: Tripura CM Manik Saha on Sunday said the gap in quality of education between urban and rural areas had reduced in the state due to corrective steps taken by the govt, including adopting technological innovations and improving school infrastructure.
Saha said Rs 1,178 crore had been allocated to upgrade infrastructure in 213 schools, adding that govt was using modern technology to expand educational opportunities in underprivileged regions.
