Various doctor oganisations have also demanded a thorough probe into the issue. “We have already lodged a compliant with the health minister about these two persons with documents that we could collect and which suggest that they have obtained the registration number by providing fake medical degrees certificates from other states. During the RG Kar movement various doctor organisations have alleged that WBMC was the seat or corruption and irregularities and had demanded the dissolution of the body and conduct fresh elections. On Thursday some doctors from the APHNH even staged a protest in front of the WBMC’s office in Salt Lake demanding the resignation of members including Sudipto Roy who is the president of the council.
