The incident took place around 8.10 pm on Oct 25, when the accused allegedly got into an argument with his 22-year-old wife on the skywalk, according to the police. Police have arrested Jafar Shaikh, who sells garments in Kurla. He allegedly abused her and threatened to throw her and their son off the structure. When the woman demanded that he return the child to her, the accused allegedly threw the boy down with the intention of killing him, resulting in serious head injuries.
