Prabhas’s ‘Fauzi’ teaser faces backlash over Subhas Chandra Bose’s portrayal: ‘The audacity to insult Netaji by making him portray as cheerleader just for the sake of aura farming’

The teaser of Prabhas ’ upcoming film ‘Fauzi’ was released on the actor’s birthday, October 23, but it has landed in a controversy. Many viewers are unhappy with the way historical figures have been shown in the video. The biggest objection is to the scene where Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is seen praising Prabhas’s character while speaking to Adolf Hitler.

The film is set to release in theatres on March 19, 2027.

A third user said, “I’m seriously done with same template, main lead soaked in blood and operating heavy machine gun with load bgm in background, it was good for couple of films, now every other film is featuring same. Some fans of Prabhas defended the film and said it is a fictional story inspired by a real character. Another person commented, “Hitler aur Netaji …dono ka mazaak bana diya hai (They’ve made a mockery of both Hitler and Netaji). Not everyone agreed, though. Others simply showed their excitement for the project. ‘Fauzi’ is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. It is backed by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series Films. Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and Bhushan Kumar are the producers.
