Ballari : Ballari cybercrime police have registered cases against 68 people for allegedly uploading videos depicting sexual acts involving minor boys and girls on Instagram . The action was taken on the directions of senior officers after 68 cyber tipline reports were examined following a complaint by Suresh K, a head constable at the Ballari cybercrime police station, according to the FIR. The investigation revealed that the videos were allegedly shared on the social media platform through various Instagram IDs between Nov 29, 2025, and May 9, 2026. Police have registered cases under Section 67(B) of the Information Technology Act and taken up further investigation.
No arrests have been made so far.
