Bengaluru: The state govt Monday transferred four IAS officers in a reshuffle involving the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) and its city corporations.

The 2012-batch IAS officer was commissioner, social welfare department. Shilpa Nag CT, a 2014-batch IAS officer, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed GBA special commissioner for forest, environment and climate change, elections, disaster management, public relations and coordination, replacing Sushama Godbole. Bengaluru South City Corporation (BSCC) commissioner Ramesh KN has been posted as GBA special commissioner (health and education). He replaces Venkatachalapathy R, who has been posted as additional commissioner (development), Bengaluru Central City Corporation. Rakesh Kumar K has been posted as the new BSCC commissioner.
