City police commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh addressed the media to quell growing panic while reassuring citizens that all possible leads are being thoroughly evaluated. “We are probing the case from all possible angles. The samples have been sent to FSL, and we are awaiting the report. It is a strange explosion, and materials typically used in a small-intensity explosion were recovered from the crime scene. The two injured persons can throw more light on the incident. We are in the festive season and are on high alert. I assure the public that there is no need to panic.”
