“Are you going to ruin our academic life?” she asked, demanding that the bus stop for students and allow them to travel to school. Reacting to the incident, KKRTC Koppal depot manager Ramesh Chinagi told TOI that he is not aware of the incident. Other students supported her and stood in front of the bus in protest. A video of the protest has gone viral on social media, with many expressing anger at KKRTC officials over what they describe as a lack of commuter-friendly training for employees, particularly when dealing with students. He assured that he will ensure buses do not avoid students and women passengers.
