The family had another reason to celebrate when his son Manjunath secured the 561st rank in the 2026 NEET examination and an MBBS seat at a medical college in Mysuru. He scored 95% in PUC before securing a good NEET rank and admission to MBBS. Manjunath studied up to high school at a govt Adarsha School and later pursued PUC at a private PU college in Gangavathi with a fee concession. The achievements of their children have brought immense happiness to Yallappa and his wife.
