Mysuru : Sri Kanyakaparameshwari Co-operative Bank registered a net profit of Rs 1.4 crore during the last financial year and has recommended a 10% dividend for its members, said bank president Nagesh B.
As part of the programme, 60 senior bank members aged above 80 were felicitated. “The bank has also strengthened its staff service rules and introduced a dedicated fraud management policy.
Addressing the 95th annual general meeting of the bank, Nagesh said the bank was taking steps to strengthen its operations and introduce modern banking services on a par with nationalised and private banks. A risk management policy is currently being formulated,” he said. Nagesh said that during his nine-month tenure as president, efforts were made to strengthen the bank and work in the interests of its members.
He expressed confidence that the bank could achieve greater growth in the coming years and hoped that its performance would enable it to provide higher dividends to members in the future.
