Speaking to TOI, Karnataka Exhibition Authority chairman Ayub Khan said that KEA has been making all preparations for Dasara exhibition by completing all the civil works within time. It has been making all its efforts to make the exhibition attractive and innovative. The tender will be awarded soon. The exhibition, which will be held for more than 90 days this year, will open for visitors on Oct 11, the first day of Navaratri. KEA has stated that the expo will be launched with full occupancy of 150 commercial stalls. Last year, the expo, which attracted the highest number of Dasara visitors, recorded 15 lakh footfalls. KEA has floated a global tender for Rs 12.5 crore this year. A Hyderabad-based agency has come forward to feature Brahmanda Loka–an immersive 360-degree moon walk super-reality dome-based universe-themed experience show. The construction of 32 permanent stalls and a permanent food court with weather-proof shelter is going on in full swing.

Mysuru: With just a few days left for Mysuru Dasara celebrations, Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) is preparing for the Dasara Exhibition. KEA has decided to feature models of achievements, artillery of Indian Defence Forces, and Indian Space Research Organisation to attract and motivate youths and students to join defence forces besides taking up research to strive for promotion of science and technological applications as one of the major attractions this year. Popular attractions like the musical fountain, flower show, cultural events, illumination, laser show, boating, and Rajiv Gandhi Dragon Pond dragon will continue even this year. KEA has stepped up to complete all pending civil works by Dasara. As KEA is facing public criticism over empty govt stalls it has already written a letter to all the departments, boards and corporations to set up their stalls, complete their work on time and open their stalls to the public. Works on the establishment of various govt stalls are also in progress.
