Mangaluru; Actor and activist Prakash Raj is scheduled to participate in ‘Janata Nadige’, a mass public rally Saturday demanding complete revocation of special intensive revision (SIR) and the sacking of chief election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged electoral irregularities.

Secretary of the forum, the march will begin at 10am from Ambedkar Circle and end near the Clock Tower , where Prakash Raj will deliver the keynote address, according to Muneer Katipalla. Muneer said leaders from various political parties and organisations have extended their support to the rally. The rally is being held under the aegis of the Dakshina Kannada District Joint Forum of Secular Parties and Organizations. Secular political parties, student, youth and women’s groups, and Dalit, labour and farmers’ organisations from across the district will be represented. Download the TOI App.
