Nagpur: Yashodharanagar police on Wednesday busted an alleged prostitution racket operating from Sangamnagar and arrested a 30-year-old man while rescuing three women during a raid.

During the operation, police rescued three women and seized cash of Rs8,750, a mobile phone, a moped and other articles collectively valued at around Rs1.18 lakh.

Police said the accused, Pravin Bilse alias Yadav, a resident of Pawannagar near Amma’s Dargah, was allegedly luring women with money and arranging customers and accommodation for financial gain. Acting on a tip-off, police raided a premises at Sanjivani Quarters near Vandevi Chowk.
