Nagpur : Hundreds of citizens gathered at Union minister Nitin Gadkari ’s office at Gadkari Wada in Mahal on Sunday to submit representations seeking assistance on a range of personal and civic issues during his monthly Janta Darbar.
People began arriving early in the morning, with representatives of various organisations and associations also approaching the minister with their demands. Several citizens sought Gadkari’s intervention in employment-related matters, including requests for jobs on compassionate grounds and transfers. Others submitted petitions seeking improved road infrastructure and resolution of local civic problems. Medical assistance was another key demand raised during the event. Several citizens approached the minister seeking financial support for treatment and medicines. Gadkari directed officials to take immediate steps to facilitate the requested assistance. Apart from individual grievances and infrastructure-related demands, some visitors also presented copies of their published books to the minister.
