Mumbai Police Mobilize Extensive Security for Ganeshotsav
Mumbai Police have mobilized over 16,000 personnel to ensure security during the Ganeshotsav festival. This includes seven additional police commissioners, 37 deputy commissioners, and 52 assistant commissioners. The force comprises 2,650 police officers and 14,150 policemen, supported by Special Reserve Police Force (SRPF) platoons, Quick Response Teams (QRT), Riot Control Teams, and Home Guards positioned at key locations throughout the city.
The police have urged citizens to exercise caution in crowded areas and to cooperate with law enforcement during the celebrations. They also encouraged the public to report any unattended or suspicious objects immediately.
