Nashik: A 30-year-old woman and her four-year-old son were found dead at their home in Jalgaon on Monday evening. Police have registered an accidental death case and launched an investigation into the circumstances leading to the deaths.
The mother and son were found hanging inside a bedroom of their house around 6pm, according to police. No note was recovered from the scene,” said inspector Vishal Jaiswal, of the Shanipeth police station. The deceased have been identified as Hemangi Mahajan and her son Shaurya, residents of Talele Colony under Shanipeth police station limits. Hemangi’s husband serves in the armed forces and is currently posted in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
