Nashik : A 49-year-old man from Khambgaon in Buldhana district was robbed of Rs 40,000 by three unidentified men while travelling in an autorickshaw in Nashik city on Friday morning.
The incident took place between 7am and 7.30am in the Panchavati Karanja area. The victim handed over Rs 20,000 in cash. The suspects also forced him to transfer another Rs 20,000 online before pushing him out of the autorickshaw and fleeing, police said.

Based on his complaint, the Panchavati police registered a robbery case against three unidentified suspects. As the autorickshaw proceeded, the driver took a different route. The three men then allegedly pulled out a knife and threatened the victim with dire consequences if he did not hand over his money.
