The district election office has announced special helpline numbers for the registration process

Nashik: District collector and district election officer Ayush Prasad has announced dedicated helpline numbers at the voter registration officer (VRO) offices in all 15 assembly constituencies of Nashik district to assist voters with the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

The facility aims to help new and eligible voters submit forms for inclusion, correction or deletion of names in the draft electoral roll under the special intensive revision programme 2026. The draft electoral roll for the district was published on Aug 30, 2026. Following the latest directive from the Election Commission of India (ECI), the deadline for filing claims and objections has been extended from Oct 31 to Nov 13. The timeline for disposing of claims and objections has also been extended from Nov 10 to Nov 25, while the final electoral roll will be published on Nov 30. “Under the revision scheme, eligible citizens who completed 18 years of age on or before Oct 1, 2026, or those left out of the Aug 31 draft list, are required to submit Form 6 along with the requisite declaration. Voters seeking corrections in the draft roll must fill Form 8 with a declaration, whereas Form 7 is prescribed for the deletion of names. The second phase of the special intensive revision covers 7.34 lakh voters in Nashik district whose details have discrepancies. They have to hurry up and it has to be done before Nov 13,” said Satish More, one of the booth level officers from Nashik city.
