One of them has been critically injured. Nashik : Two teenagers suffered a high-voltage electric shock while hoisting a flag atop a temple in Satpur on Monday.
The accident occurred around noon on Trimbak Road when Ayush Mirekar (15) and Aditya Vitkar (16) climbed atop the temple to install a flag mounted on an iron pole as part of Ganeshotsav preparations. The boys suffered a powerful electric shock and were hurled nearly 15 feet from the temple. Police said the critically injured teenager suffered the most serious injuries after falling nearly 15 feet from the temple following the shock.

The pole accidentally came in contact with an overhead power line, according to Satpur police. Assistant inspector Dnyaneshwar Bhadange said one of the boys is in a critical condition. Both boys received a severe shock and were thrown away by the impact,” he said.
