Police registered abetment case

Family alleges caste-based harassment

Crime Branch Takes Over Investigation of Student’s Death
Sahil, a second-year BTech student from the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, was discovered deceased in his hostel room on the same day of the incident. In response to the circumstances surrounding his death, the case has been escalated to the Crime Branch for further investigation.
