Kolkata: Anyone battling a “physical problem” should join an RSS shakha, overcome those troubles by maintaining a healthy lifestyle and serve the nation, CM Suvendu Adhikari said on Wednesday. Adhikari was attending the inaugural ceremony of the new RSS building in New Town – Keshav Smriti. Besides Adhikari, local MLA Piyush Kanoria attended the ceremony. Functionaries of the Dr Hedgewar Smarak Samiti — a social welfare organisation dedicated to spreading the ideals of RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar — were also present. RSS has seen a surge in its following in Bengal since BJP came to office. With increasing operational needs following the rapid expansion of the organisation, RSS required a new space to manage its activities. Download the TOI App.
