Now, an attempt is being made to take credit for ready-made work by holding a fresh inauguration,” said Sunil Kadam, Shiv Sena (UBT) Nanded taluka chief. The same money can be offered to farmers now,” Kadam said.
Partyworkers broke coconuts and showered flowers and gulal at the hospital, claiming the project was conceived, sanctioned and completed during Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) govt’s tenure and that Mahayuti was attempting to claim credit for it. The foundation stone of the hospital was laid by Aaditya Thackeray . “The facility was ready but waiting for inauguration. The delay was causing huge inconvenience to rural patients. Also, the rival camp was making a big inauguration event by spending public money. This is unacceptable during the current drought conditions. The episode is expected to further sharpen the rivalry between the two Shiv Sena factions over credit for development projects in the district. Download the TOI App.
