MUMBAI: Powai Police registered a case of abetment of suicide on Saturday in connection with the death of a student at the IIT-Bombay campus the previous day. Fresh protests were organised on the IIT-Bombay campus on Saturday morning as several students continued their demonstration through the night after a second-year student died by suicide. The student’s parents, who are from Yavatmal, reached the campus on Saturday. The student had been caught with a mobile phone during his exam on Friday.
