Kshirsagar said the police team studied the modus operandi and examined CCTV footage. They also stole gold and silver jewellery from a house in Wada Colony in Shirur. A local crime branch team of Pune Rural police, led by inspector Pramod Kshirsagar, arrested the trio — Suraj Nimbalkar of Baramati, and Shankar Ghorpade and Sangram Shinde, both from Indapur — following a tip-off and recovered the goods. The details were shared with informants. “We received a tip-off that the three men were in Indapur. We laid a trap and arrested the trio.
