Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) is set to establish a monitoring centre near Zudio on Laxmi Road. Senior officials will oversee the procession and coordinate necessary response measures. This initiative aims to ensure safety and efficient management during the event.
Pune : Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd ( MSEDCL ) has deployed dedicated ground teams along major Ganesh immersion procession routes to guarantee an uninterrupted and safe power supply. An emergency team has been stationed at Perugate Chowk. Nine teams under Navi Peth-Dattawadi branch will cover areas including New English School, Ganjve Chowk, Dandekar Bridge, Janata Vasahat and Sinhagad Road-Mhatre Bridge-Mhasoba Chowk stretch. The Shivajinagar division has deployed teams under Modi Ganapati, Shivajinagar and Khadki branches. Personnel will cover key stretches, including Samadhan Chowk, Kunthe Chowk, Chitrashala Chowk, Alka Chowk, Police Ground, the civic headquarters, Wakadewadi-Sancheti Hospital and Patil Estate. In the Rasta Peth division, three-member teams have been stationed at Samadhan Chowk, Lal Mahal Chowk and Pasodya Vithoba Mandir Chowk, with emergency power supply arrangements in place.
