She had arrived in Mumbai from Bhopal on Sept 6 and boarded Indigo flight from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to Amsterdam the following day, intending to take another flight to Birmingham. Agarwal told police that she had kept nine 100-pound notes in a wallet inside her handbag. After experiencing nausea, she was allotted seat 24/D on request. On reaching Amsterdam airport at about 10 pm Indian time, she checked the handbag and found the money missing.

Probe is on,” said a Sahar police officer. “As the matter is two months old, the team have sought the CCTV footage from the airport and also have asked details of the passengers that travelled in the flight in which Agarwal travelled.
