Pune: Healthcare is not merely a process of providing treatment; it is a test of society’s sensitivity. He also lauded the Patients’ Rights Council for spreading the message of religious harmony and mutual respect in society. Dr. Sabnis was speaking at a programme organised to mark the third anniversary of the Grand Prithvi Medical Foundation. The programme was attended by Umesh Chavan, Founder President of the Patients’ Rights Council; Dr. Avinash Bhondwe, former President of the Indian Medical Association, Maharashtra; Chandrashekhar Daithankar, former Inspector General of Police; Dr. Satyendranath Chavan, former Assistant Veterinary Commissioner; Bhanupratap Barge, former Assistant Commissioner of Police; Milind Gaikwad; Janmohammad Pathan; Aparna Marane-Sathe, Pune City President of the Patients’ Rights Council; Ashok Shinde, Executive Director of the Grand Prithvi Medical Foundation; Mukesh Mohite and others.
