The Advanced Traffic Control System (ATCS) has identified 28 critical locations for signal implementation. These sites include:

– Carbon Naka in Satpur MIDC
– Shri Ram Circle along Satpur Colony
– Dutta Mandir on the Ambad Link Road
– Xlo Point
– Mauli Lawns
– Pawan Nagar in Cidco
– Garware Point in Ambad
– Pathardi Phata (old bridge)
– Rane Nagar
– Lekha Nagar tunnel
– Amruthdham
– Bidi Kamgar Chowk
– Siddhivinayak Chowk
– Kathe Galli Signal
– Dr Ambedkar Nagar

Overhead Mast Arm Structure Enhances Traffic Signal Visibility
The latest traffic signals will incorporate an overhead mast arm structure, which consists of long steel extension arms that position the lights directly above the center of the road. This design deviates from the conventional roadside pole setup and aims to improve visibility for drivers. Reddy highlighted that this feature is particularly beneficial when large vehicles, such as trucks or buses, are present in front of smaller vehicles, ensuring that the signal remains clearly visible at all times.
