Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar : The Youth Movement of Maharashtra, a social movement, will organise blood donation camps across the state on Wednesday as part of its annual campaign to commemorate Milad un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.
Last year, the campaign collected 8,344 units of blood, including 992 units from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, said organiser Adil Madni.
Through our annual campaign, we aim to strengthen the culture of voluntary blood donation, social responsibility and service to humanity across the state,” he said. “A single act of blood donation can become a lifeline for a patient in need.

In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, camps will be held at Markaz-e-Islami, Younus Colony, Kat Kat Gate Road, Lal Masjid, Town Hall, Baghban Hall, Paithan Gate, Kohinoor Lawns, Rauza Bagh, Zam Zam Hall, Silk Milk Colony, Noor Function Hall, Savera Chowk, Qasim Pura, Badi Masjid, Chikalthana, Power Loom, Tipu Sultan Chowk and Hina Nagar. The camps will remain open from 10am until evening, while the camp at Markaz-e-Islami, Younus Colony, will continue until 10pm. The organisers have appealed to citizens to visit their nearest camp and contribute to the humanitarian initiative by donating blood. Download the TOI App.
