Thrissur : As many as 1,175 title deeds across various categories were distributed at the district-level Pattaya Mela held in Thrissur on Friday. The distribution included 1,021 deeds from the land tribunal section, 105 for forest land, 38 for surplus land, and 11 for inam land. Govt had initially proposed to distribute 5,000 title deeds as part of its 100-day action programme.

Inaugurating the event, revenue minister A P Anilkumar said similar programmes to distribute title deeds would be organised in other districts. “It now appears that we will be able to distribute around 10,000 title deeds during this period,” the minister said.
