Kochi : Ernakulam North police registered an FIR against two people on Tuesday for allegedly assaulting a 70-year-old security guard.

The case pertains to the attack on the night of Sept 10, following a dispute over vehicle parking at a flat. The FIR was registered under sections 115 (2) and 126 (2) of BNS for voluntarily causing hurt and wrongful restraint.
A man allegedly assaulted Lazar after he questioned the parking of a vehicle in a wrong spot, according to the FIR. The victim, Lazar, a native of Mattancherry, allegedly suffered a dislocation of his left wrist in the assault. When he resisted, the accused allegedly called a resident of the flat to the spot. The first accused then punched him in the chest.
