Kochi : In connection with the visit of defence minister Rajnath Singh to Kochi, traffic restrictions will be in place within the limits of Kochi city police commissionerate from 11am to 4pm on Friday.

The restrictions will be in regions including Naval Base area, Thevara, Atlantis, Ravipuram, Pallimukku, Jose Jn, BTH Road, Park Avenue Road, Shanmugham Road, Marine Drive, High Court Jn, Banerjee Road, Madhava Pharmacy, Kacheripady, Kaloor, Kaloor-Perenoor Road, Deshabhimani-Punnakkal Road, Edappally-Changampuzha Road, BTS Road, Edappally Madam Jn and Changampuzha-BTS Road Jn. Partial traffic restrictions will be imposed on Aluva-Palarivattom PWD Road. Parking that could obstruct the traffic will be prohibited along the route used by the VVIP convoy — from Vathuruthy Jn through Thevara, MG Road , Banerjee Road, Kaloor Stadium and Palarivattom.
