Kochi : Parvathy Maya Shaji, accused of alleged job fraud, was granted bail on Monday.

Three youths hailing from Erumapetty in Thrissur, Ponnani in Malappuram and Mamala in Ernakulam had filed complaints against her earlier. Shaji was arrested by Palarivattom Police on Thursday at Thiruvananthapuram airport as she arrived from abroad. He was arrested during a vehicle inspection on Monday.
During a detailed interrogation that followed, he also revealed that he had stolen and concealed another vehicle from the premises of Kottayam Medical College.
The police said that the man reportedly had multiple cases against him and he will be handed over to Alappuzha Police for further investigation. During preliminary questioning, he admitted that the vehicle in which he was travelling had been stolen from the premises of Alappuzha Medical College. Based on the information provided by him, the police recovered the vehicle.
