Kochi : Parvathy Maya Shaji, accused of alleged job fraud, was remanded back in judicial custody on Saturday.
Police sources said so far, no other cases have been registered against the accused in other police stations. However, officers said that ever since her arrest, people have been contacting them. Palarivattom Police has registered one more case against Shaji, who runs Amster Overseas. The case was registered against her and two others on a complaint filed by a Ponnani native. The latest case was registered following her arrest in two similar cases. They added that the company also started repaying amounts after the FIRs were registered. They had alleged that they were cheated after being promised jobs in Armenia and Poland.
Two youths hailing from Erumapetty in Thrissur and Mamala in Ernakulam had filed complaints against her earlier. Shaji was arrested by Palarivattom Police on Thursday at Thiruvananthapuram airport as she arrived from abroad.
