Kochi : Cochin International Airport Ltd (Cial) will welcome Saudi Arabia-based low-cost carrier Flynas to its growing international airline network, with the airline set to commence direct services between Kochi and Riyadh from Wednesday.
The route will be served by an Airbus A320 aircraft with a seating capacity of 174 passengers, Cial officials said. The new service will operate three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays under flight numbers XY399 and XY400.
The Kochi–Riyadh service will depart from Cial at 8.50am, while the return flight from Riyadh will arrive at Kochi at 8.05am. The addition of Flynas further strengthens Cial’s international connectivity, offering passengers a new airline option for travel between Kochi and the Saudi Arabia n capital. The addition will further strengthen Cial’s connectivity with Saudi Arabia, which currently includes Air India Express, Akasa Air and Saudia, with direct services to Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam.
