The programme was part of the Magic Bus India Foundation’s awareness initiative for local women. Women from Madhichiyam and nearby localities attended the event. City cybercrime sub-inspector W Manikavasugi addressed the participants and shared guidance on digital safety, including ways to prevent online fraud and safely navigate digital platforms. She sensitised the women about the recent FQL scam, in which thousands were allegedly duped, and warned them against greed-driven investment schemes. She also explained digital arrest and WhatsApp scams and urged them not to share personal information with anyone. K Shamsnaveeth, training officer of the Magic Bus India Foundation, was present.
