The surgery was performed only an hour later, according to the complaint. However, the hospital authority denied the allegations and said that the death was caused by complications involving separation of the placenta inside the womb. Around 8am, the relatives were informed that an urgent surgery would be performed on the woman. Subsequently, the relatives were informed that the baby died in the womb. The relatives claimed that the delay in performing the C-section led to the baby’s death.
The woman was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday morning for delivery. She was shifted to the labour room around 4am on Thursday.
