Rising 8,661ft above sea level, Meesapulimala is the second-highest peak in south India. The forest department has introduced a dedicated mobile application to facilitate bookings for visitors interested in viewing the Neelakurinji flowers. The journey to Meesapulimala begins with an off-road drive from Munnar through Silent Valley along a rugged route. After crossing the base camp, visitors enter a landscape surrounded by dense forests and mountain ranges. The next destination is Rhodo Valley, where rhododendron trees are in bloom. Besides its adventure tourism potential, Meesapulimala is also known for its rich biodiversity.
