Selvan, a member of the Tamil Nadu Rail User’s Federation, said that the introduction of a Vistadome coach was a huge milestone, especially for tourism between Tamil Nadu and Kerala . “As long as the fares are nominal, even regular travelers as well as tourists will be able to enjoy the scenic route,” he said. Engineered with extra-large glass windows and observation-friendly designs, the Vistadome coach is tailored to elevate the journey for tourists, families and leisure travellers alike. A major highlight of the route includes the picturesque ghat section between Sengottai and Kollam Junction, allowing passengers and devotees travelling between the two temple cities of Madurai and Guruvayur to take in the scenic views of the Western Ghats.
