Krishnagiri: Two men died on the spot after a private school bus collided head-on with their two-wheeler near Hosur in Krishnagiri district on Friday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Anbarasan, 50, and Sampath Kumar, 52, residents of Mookandapalli near Hosur in Krishnagiri. Police said the accident took place when a private school bus was heading towards Hosur after picking up students from surrounding villages along the Hosur Kakkanur route. On impact, both occupants of the two-wheeler were thrown off the vehicle and died on the spot,” said an officer. Both were involved in real estate business. “When the bus reached Nallur, it collided head-on with an oncoming two-wheeler at high speed. All school children travelling on the bus escaped unhurt. Nallur police who were alerted, recovered the bodies, and sent them to the Hosur govt headquarters hospital for postmortem.
